Changing Marketing System

It has been a long time since I posted on this blog. During the many months and years of testing different marketing systems, I have decided that paid traffic is where I must concentrate my efforts.

There is a myth that organic traffic is free. Well it can be after many weeks and months of working on a site to make it something worthwhile to be visited. The site must add value to somebody's life or it will not survive, let alone grow.

Just posting is not enough either. In today's internet world, posts need to be spread out all over the web if anybody is going to take notice. That means linking and posting to the many social sites, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Stumbleupon, Reddit, etc.

There are tools that help automating all of this, but caution must be maintained. Google and the other search engines have become very good at spotting fraud. It is best to post, link and broadcast manually as much as possible with unique content.

All of this can be fun or work, depending on how much you enjoy working on your business. There is only one thing that is constant on the internet, and that is change. Survival depends on your ability to be flexible and keeping current on the latest twists and turns that come your way.

As far as paid traffic is concerned, there is a big learning curve for that. I am still working on it.

There are many good articles to read about all of this here.

Terry's Blog

In case you have procrastinated for months before creating your first blog (Weblog), let me tell you, there isn't any pain associated with it. More often than not, I am reluctant to start something new, because I dislike looking like a fool in front of others. As you can tell, I have thrown all caution to the wind and plunged ahead with great boldness.

Now what?
